‘Complete stranger Things 3’ Breaks Netflix Streaming Records

We knew a great deal of individuals were prepared for the release of Stranger Things 3, but not even Netflix anticipated what would take place when the 3rd season debuted on July 4

, 2019. In just four days, the season broke all standing Netflix records with a reported 40.7 million household accounts tuning into the show and a record-breaking 18.2 million finishing the whole season in four days or less.

The streaming huge announced the numbers in a Tweet yesterday.

. @Stranger_Things 3 is breaking Netflix records!

40.7 million home accounts have been viewing the show considering that its July 4 international launch– more than any other film or series in its first 4 days. And 18.2 million have currently ended up the entire season.

— Netflix United States (@netflix) July 8, 2019 Neither number is truly a stretch of the creativity for the category favorite developed by The Duffer Brothers. Fans had been waiting for almost 2 full years for its best– season 2 premiered in October of 2017– and as any fan knows, this show almost asks to be binged.

Even more notably, the season absolutely proved itself worth the wait, however.

School is out for Summertime in Hawkins, and our preferred group of 80s kids are growing up, discovering love, and figuring out how to browse relationships as their concerns change. Naturally, nothing in Hawkins takes place without the looming hazard of the Advantage Down, and this season it was particularly nasty.

Stranger Things 3 also saw the addition of brand-new characters, including Maya Hawke as Robin, who deals with Steve (Joe Keery) at the ice cream shop in the new Star Court Mall. Hawke’s parents, who simply occur to be Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, took to Instagram to share their enjoyment for Maya’s brand-new gig.

Netflix is so notorious for its 3 season limit that it’s ended up being a meme, and the third season ended with both some closure and a tease for a continued story.

With numbers like these, however, we honestly can’t see them cancelling the program.
